CNM Birmingham

Kate Russell
Kate is a qualified Teacher and Nursery Nurse who retrained with CNM as a Naturopath and Herbalist after seeing the benefits of better nutrition with her students. Kate started her business The Balance Centre in 2001 and has recently expanded her clinic. Kate is an advocate for organic food, juicing, the Gerson Therapy, exercise, and laughter. Born in Birmingham, Kate is a practitioner who walks her talk.

CNM Brighton

Jacqui Lane
Jacqui lives in Brighton, and started out as a Youth Worker in London, having also worked for the City and Guilds examinations board as syllabus approvals officer. The next career change saw her spend twenty years in European Retail construction as a Director, many of which were based abroad. It was three years ago on an ITEC massage course that Jacqui’s interest in anatomy and physiology surfaced, and she decided to organise a major career change into Nutrition. She is currently in her last year as a student of both Nutrition and Naturopathic Study and Practical, and combines working for the college with her own practice.

CNM Bristol

Rebecca Muncey
Rebecca was born in England and grew up in Germany, where she attended the International school of Duesseldorf. Living in an international community was complemented by the many opportunities she had for travel. She has been fortunate enough to have explored Europe, and visit distant lands such as India, Egypt and America. Another chance to travel arose during her degree when she was offered a placement at Canterbury University in New Zealand. Rebecca began to learn more about natural medicine and has chosen to pursue this interest with CNM.

CNM Glasgow and Edinburgh

Linda Lennox
Linda had careers in Thames Valley Police and Marks and Spencer before starting her own business as a career consultant. She suffered from poor health in her early forties and looked towards alternative treatments. Her health was dramatically improved by glyconutrient supplements and this inspired her to study nutrition with the CNM. She is currently in her final year and intends to combine career consulting and nutrition as her new career.

CNM Manchester

Nicky Acton
Born in Manchester and educated to university degree level at Manchester Metropolitan University, Nicky has run her own printing business for the past 17 years, and has experience in graphic design, management, and sales, aspects of which she brings to the CNM. Hermann Keppler - Principal of the CNM

Dear Reader and Future Student,

Hermann Keppler, Founder and Principal of the CNMMy name is Hermann Keppler, Principal of The College of Naturopathic Medicine. Please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself, and how I came to put together our unique programme of study.

When I started my clinic over twenty years ago, I practiced only as a Homeopath; yet I found I did not have sufficient knowledge to help all of my patients. When I added Iridology and Chinese Diagnosis, once I understood the various reflex points and zones of the body and could also give qualified advice on Nutrition or guide my patients safely through fastings, my ability to assist my patients increased considerably. I saw vast improvements in my patients’ health, and subsequent growth in my practise.

All of these skills, plus the ability to apply tissue salts, Bach flower remedies, first aid homeopathic remedies, and herbal mixtures, made me a practitioner for the whole family. That’s when I decided to open a college that would encompass all of these skills in its curriculum.
