Graduating as a CNM Natural Chef in 2016 really helped me to strengthen my business as an Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle consultant, as I offer therapeutic meal plans for my clients.
It also opened new doors for me and from 1st December 2016 I’ll be the owner of a vegetarian cafe in Soho, London, where I did my internship as a CNM Natural Chef.
I’d always been a keen self-taught cook, happy to experiment in the kitchen. When looking to develop my skill so that I could offer my clients therapeutic menus, the CNM Natural Chef Diploma Training seemed perfect as it was based on naturopathic principles of health.
Gaining practical hands-on experience and recipe writing skills were things I found especially useful and enjoyable. I’m so glad that I pursued my passion and went for it!
It’s part of the course to complete an internship, which I did at two central London venues, Vanilla Black in Chancery Lane and the Retreat Café in Soho. The experience gave me a great insight into the demands of working in a busy kitchen and the high level of precision needed to run a successful restaurant or event. In return, my feedback was welcomed on how it was possible to give a new twist to dishes already on the menu, to make them even healthier.
It’s very exciting to be taking over the Café where I did my internship and to rebrand it as the SO Pure Café. We’ll be offering scrumptious and nutritious dishes catering for vegetarian, vegan, raw-food, dairy and gluten-free diets. See you there!
