Are any professions exempt from studying part of the CNM diploma course(s)?

Nurses, homeopaths, medical doctors, herbalists or similar professions are exempt from doing the Biomedicine course. Please inform the course consultant when contacting us if this applies to you.

Who can enrol on a Higher Diploma course?

Higher diploma courses are available to those students who are already Homeopaths, Herbalists, and Acupuncturists who would be going on to higher training. i.e. to become a Naturopath or a Nutritional Therapist.

Are any courses available as Higher Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma courses?

All courses are available as Post-graduate and Higher Diploma level

Do you offer on-line or distance learning courses?

We offer neither distance learning nor on-line courses.

What are the enrolment deadlines?

Typically, students enrol for the Autumn (Oct) and Spring (Feb) semesters. However, since our Biomedicine and Naturopathy courses are built around a modular system, new students can join a course throughout the year.

Please bear in mind that as an International student visa applications take an average of 12 to 14 weeks. Check with your local British Consulate for waiting times. Since our courses are built around a modular system, you can join a course throughout the year.

What do the course fees cover?

The course fees cover teaching, assessment, examinations, and graduation.

The course fees do NOT cover the costs of any study materials (books, texts, etc), case studies, clinical hours, travel, personal stationery, digital media and equipment like mobile phones and computers, accommodation, or general living costs.

How do I pay my course fees?

Fees are payable in full at the beginning of each academic year of your course. Per the requirements of your student visa, The UK government require you pay at least your first year of study in full.

I have been asked to pay ‘enrolment fees’ - when should I pay these?

Enrolment fees must be paid within 7 days of your enrolment being approved. The enrolment fee is a one-time payment and is non-refundable. Once you have enrolled, if you wish to take additional courses you will NOT have to pay any additional enrolment fees, provided you do not cancel your course of study.

I cannot afford to pay the course fees - will I be eligible for a loan?

The CNM can not make loans to students to pay course fees, and it is difficult for an international student to get a bank loan in the UK. If you need to take out a loan to pay your course fees, you are advised to make arrangements for this before you leave home.

International students are required to pay at least one full year of study in advance.

Does the CNM offer Scholarships?

The CNM does not offer scholarships.

Will I be eligible for free NHS health care?

If you are on a course of study that lasts six months or more, you are automatically entitled to free health care from the National Health Service (NHS) relating to any condition which occurs after your arrival in the UK. This means you may register as a patient with an NHS doctor, known as a General Practitioner (GP), and dentist. If a doctor prescribes a course of medicine for you, you may have to pay the prescription charge and you may have to pay for dental treatment.
