CNM Nutrition students fundraise to improve indoor air quality for the residents and staff of Muriel Street Care Home, Islington, London.
Having already raised funds for a much needed Vitamix and fresh produce for the Muriel Street Care Home during the first covid lockdown, a dedicated team of Nutrition students from the College of Naturopathic Medicine have now raised funds for indoor plants designed to improve air quality in the Islington Care Home. The students also presented the Care Home nurses with flowers to show appreciation for the invaluable work they do with the vulnerable elderly. The CNM students have raised the funds during their ongoing GoFundMe campaign “Food for Thought”.
They say, “We wanted to continue showing our support to the staff and residents of this wonderful Care Home in the ongoing covid situation and providing plants which naturally improve indoor air quality seemed an excellent idea.”
At CNM we believe that good health comes from education and practice. The CNM Diploma courses, based on time-proven natural medicine principles and cutting-edge scientific evidence, include, in addition to life-changing lectures, many clinical practice sessions. Students apply their knowledge in real-world clinic scenarios throughout their studies. Combined with thorough business marketing training, this offers CNM graduates all of the skills, knowledge and tools required to start a thriving business upon graduation.
With graduates like Madeleine Shaw, Rosemary Ferguson and Elizabeth Peyton-Jones, CNM’s international accreditation means graduates can practise and share their expertise across the globe.
