What is Herbs for Everyday Living?

This is an introduction to Western herbal medicine and naturopathic tradition. Students will gain a better understanding of the most common and exciting everyday herbs to use as medicines and foods.

Herbs can be used in the kitchen as food and to promote the self-healing mechanism of the body. The course provides an understanding of how everyday herbs can support the health of the whole family and aims to make herbs accessible and uncomplicated.

We teach in an interactive, fun and friendly style to make anyone feel welcome. There will be lots of examples and recipes on how to make home-made herbal syrups, teas and decoctions.

Get practical with herbs and watch Herbalist Jill Davies demonstrate How to make a home-made onion and garlic syrup. More of her recipes are available on the course.
