TRAINING SUCCESSFUL PRACTITIONERS

Cooking for Neurodivergent Children

Description

CNM London: 10th October 2026

Neurodiversity recognises that children experience and process the world in many different ways. Conditions such as autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences can influence behaviour, learning, focus, sensory processing, and emotional regulation. Increasingly, both practitioners and families are recognising that nutrition and lifestyle can play a meaningful role in supporting the wellbeing of neurodivergent children.

Recent research has highlighted the important relationship between diet and the expression of symptoms in neurodivergent children. What children eat can influence energy levels, focus, mood, digestion, and overall resilience. Understanding how food interacts with the developing brain and body can therefore provide valuable tools for parents, caregivers, and practitioners who wish to support children in a gentle, natural, and practical way.

Join us for this informative workshop designed to empower you with knowledge and tools to help your child thrive.

During our time together we will explore:

  • The connection between diet and symptoms in neurodivergent children
  • Underlying factors and the gut–brain connection
  • How to read labels: identifying ingredients and nutrients in children’s snack products
  • Practical strategies for everyday life to help break the link with highly processed and toxic foods
  • Food as medicine: the superfoods that can support children’s wellbeing

Plus:

  • Take your knowledge to the kitchen! Get hands-on in our kitchen as we prepare together easy, delicious, and nourishing recipes for children.

Spaces are limited, so secure your place now and take the first step towards a natural, healthier, and more informed approach to supporting neurodivergent children.
