Change career, help others and improve your health with the No.1 training provider.

Accredited & recognised by

International Acupuncture course

CNM’s newly developed Hybrid Acupuncture Diploma Course combines on line learning with practical in class training. Study all the theory in your own time at home or wherever you are and get your clinical skills honed in at a CNM college or with a CNM approved acupuncturist. Our specifically produced practical videos show precisely how meridians run in the body including their acupuncture points and how to needle them. These videos also help you understand how organ functions are interconnected. An imbalance of the digestion for instance can cause dysfunctions of the lungs, or the other way around; a weak lung can lead to constipation! A pain on the forearm can be related to the lungs as the lung channel (meridian) goes via the forearm to the thumb. Having such videos at hand allows you to hone in your practical skills. Watch – practice – watch again till you are confident.

The course consists of 3 components:

  • Filmed lectures and comprehensive handouts.
  • Online live tutorials, exams and written assignments.
  • In-person clinics with practising therapist.

80% of CNM graduates are practising (part time or full time)

  • Part 1: Biomedicine, Naturopathy Study and Acupuncture theory
  • Part 2: Naturopathic Principles and Acupuncture theory and practice
  • Part 3: Acupuncture practice and setting up your own clinic.

With CNM’s Acupuncture training, you will qualify not only as an Acupuncturist but also as a Naturopath.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a core element of Chinese Medicine. It is based on the understanding that there is an energy flow in living organisms, which, if blocked, results in diseases. An Acupuncturist resolves this energy flow by placing needles in appropriate Acupuncture points

The power of acupuncture to restore the health of body and mind is increasingly recognised throughout the western world. Acupuncture has an extraordinary ability to change people’s lives.

Acupuncture works on a deep level to help patients recover their physical and mental harmony. Acupuncture is becoming ever more popular in the UK, and opportunities for both independent practice and within the NHS are growing all the time. Acupuncture is viewed very positively by the House of Lords Committee, the British Medical Association, and the World Health Organisation.
