Kinesiology Workshop
Systematic kinesiology is an amazing assessment tool and uses manual muscle testing to identify imbalances within the body, therefore removing the need for guesswork when working with clients, friends and family.
Description
Kinesiology is probably one of the few systems of healthcare that can be considered truly holistic, as it supports the individual physically, nutritionally, mentally, emotionally and energetically. All of these factors contribute to our state of health, and any combination of factors may be contributing at one time to cause state od disease or discomfort. With Kinesiology we can test which aspect is causing an imbalance.
This practical one-day workshop will cover some basic Kinesiology techniques and muscle testing to identify and correct imbalances that will be relevant to your clinical practice as a naturopathic nutritionist, naturopath, herbalist, or homeopath.
You will learn and practice:
- How to defuse emotional stress without being in any way intrusive.
- How to identify foods/nutrients/remedies which will enhance a person’s health.
- How to assess hydration levels and food intolerances
The focus of this workshop is on practical work and introduction of kinesiology as an easy to use, fast, accurate and non-invasive assessment tool.
The workshop will be delivered by Sonia Munafo, Kinesiologist, Somatic Movement Therapist, Nutritional Therapist, EFT Advanced Practitioner, Pilates and Yoga Teacher, and CNM’s Kinesiology lecturer, with more than 10 years of clinical experience.
